Antoine Semenyo has been named February’s Premier League EA SPORTS Player of the Month for his string of impressive performances for his new outfit.

This is the first time the Ghanaian international has won the award.

In his first full month as a Manchester City player, Semenyo bagged three goals and one assists in five league games in the month of February, helping his side claim four wins and one draw.

“This is a brilliant moment for me. To win the Premier League Player of the Month award so soon after joining City is something I’ll never forget,” said Semenyo, speaking to Manchester City’s official website.

“It’s been such an amazing start to life at this club. I am learning so much every day and I honestly feel I am already a better player.

“I have been made to feel welcome from day one, which means I have been able to stay focused on the pitch and do my best.

“My focus now is on continuing to improve and helping City to achieve the best possible results. We have so much to play for and I am really excited about this final period of the season,” he said.

For Bournemouth and City combined this season, the 26-year-old has registered 15 goals and four assists in 28 appearances.

As the Citizens find themselves on the backfoot in the title race, Semenyo will look to propel his side towards the title yet again.
