According to news in German football media, Premier League giants Arsenal have placed a young Cameroonian striker on their radar for next season.

With Victor Gyokeres currently leading the line for Arsenal, it’s believed that Mikel Arteta could make reinforcements to his attacking department as the London side continue to challenge on all fronts.

As per Sky Germany, Arsenal are now keeping tabs on Bayer Leverkusen teenager, Christian Kofane.

The report mentioned that Arteta was left impressed by the 19-year-old’s showings during Leverkusen’s 3-1 aggregate defeat against the Gunners in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.

It’s said that Leverkusen will ask between £52.3 and £61 million for his services, while Real Madrid have likewise shown interest in the African startlet.

Kofane has been a star performer for Leverkusen this season, scoring seven goals while bagging eight assists in 39 games across the board.
