As a promising African talent abroad, Bayern Munich teenager Bara Sapoko Ndiaye is believed to be adjusting well to life in Germany according to one of the club’s teachers.

Ndiaye, 18, joined Bayern on loan from Gambinos Stars Africa in the January transfer window and has quietly gone about his business in new surroundings. While it’s believed that the club intend on making his move permanent, Ndiaye made his Bayern debut on 11 April, where he came on for Jamal Musiala in the 84th minute during a 5-0 away victory against FC St. Pauli.

Known for his technical ability and raw pace, Ndiaye has also taken to the German language with efficiency according to German teacher Max Steegmüller.

It’s said that the teenager has been having German language lessons three to four times a week, during 30- and 60-minutes sessions. Steegmüller recently revealed that his progress has been significant, to the point where he told the player to slow down.

“He’s very focused and absolutely motivated to learn German,” says Steegmüller, according to Bayern’s official website.

“It got to the point where I had to slow himdown because he wanted to study even on Sundays.

“Next season, we’ll do your first interview in German.” Bara didn’t hesitate: “Let’s do it.” A handshake sealed the deal.
