Two Premier League superstars, Mohamed Salah of Liverpool and Manchester City striker Omar Marmoush, headline Egypt’s 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.

Salah, the captain and Egypt’s all-time leading goalscorer, brings world-class experience, while Marmoush adds explosive pace and finishing power up front after his strong move to Manchester City.

Together they form one of the most dangerous attacking partnerships in the tournament.

The Pharaohs return to the World Cup for the first time since 2018 and will compete in Group G against tough opponents: Belgium, Iran, and New Zealand.

With Salah and Marmoush leading the line, plus a mix of experienced stars and exciting young talents like Barcelona’s Hamza Abdelkarim, Egyptian fans are full of hope that the team can finally win their first-ever World Cup match and make a deep run in North America!
