Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal worth a minimum of £22m to sign Daniel Munoz from Crystal Palace.

The Colombia international has now been given permission to have a medical before joining Forest.

The deal will reunite Munoz with Forest boss Oliver Glasner, who worked with the full-back during his time in charge at Selhurst Park.

Talks over the move have been ongoing for several days and accelerated after Palace’s 4-1 defeat by Manchester City on Friday.

Munoz joined Palace from Belgian side Genk in 2024 and has been a key player for the Eagles in recent seasons, playing a crucial part in the club’s historic FA Cup and Europa Conference League triumphs under Glasner.

The 30-year-old has just under two years left on his current deal and Palace are prepared to sell this summer.

Palace signed Anan Khalaili from Belgian side Royale Union Saint-Gilloise earlier this summer and the Israel international is expected to take Munoz’s place in Pierre Sage’s team.

Munoz has made 109 appearances for Palace, scoring 11 goals, and played in their opening 2-0 Premier League defeat at Everton. However, he was an unused subsitute in the loss to City.

Forest have also launched an ambitious bid – £40m plus a potential sell-on clause – to sign Everton‘s teenage midfielder Harrison Armstrong.
