The Confederation of African football (CAF) has announced that the quarterfinal draws for the CAF Confederation Cup and Champions League will take place on Tuesday.
The draws will take place in Cairo at the headquarters of the Egyptian Football Association, with the Confederation Cup draw beginning at 1pm (GMT +2), followed by the Champions League draw at 2pm. Both draws will be live streamed on CAF’s official YouTube Channel, CAF TV.
The group stages of both competitions concluded at the weekend, with the eight quarterfinals for each competition decided.
In the Champions League, defending champions Pyramids FC will be joined by last year’s Confederation Cup winners RS Berkane, alongside Al Ahly, FAR Rabat, Al Hilal Omdurman, Mamelodi Sundowns, Stade Malien and Esperance Sportive de Tunis in the knockout stage.
In the Confederation Cup, USM Alger, OC Safi, Wydad AC, Maniema Union, CR Belouizdad, AS Otohô, Zamalek and Al Masry secured their spots in the quarterfinal.
Tuesday promises to present quality match-ups as the fight for continental glory continues.
