As two of Africa’s leading talents in the Premier League currently, Manchester United attacking duo Amad Diallo and Bryan Mbeumo recently gave insights to their telepathic relationship on the pitch.

Diallo joined United from Atalanta in January 2021, while he had successful loan spells at Rangers and Sunderland there after. Now though, Diallo has grown into becoming a star player for United and a regular on the right wing.

Mbeumo on the other hand, joined the English giants from Brentford at the start of the 2025/26 campaign and swiftly cemented his place in the club’s starting XI. Together, the pair often excited fans at Old Trafford with the link up play going forward.

“Yeah, at the beginning of the season [we were playing] the same [side], on the right,” Diallo said, according to United’s official website.

“And yeah, we had a good relationship, even outside the pitch.”

“We know each other. We want to have more freedom on the pitch and switch the positions when the team need [it]. He’s happy to do his best for the club and same for me, and we want to continue like this.”

“I know his movements and I know as well how he likes to play, with the training and the games as well, we always try to do this partnership every time,” Mbeumo added.
