    URA FC produced an excellent comeback from two targets all the way down to eradicate ten-time Stanbic Uganda Cup winners KCCA FC out of the competitors.

    The tax collectors wanted a 4-2 shootout win after a 2-2 attract regular and extra-time throughout the contest performed at Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo on Saturday.

    In regular time, Saidi Mayanja and Herbert Achai had scored for KCCA in both half earlier than John Harmless Kisolo and Ronald Otti restored parity for the Hussein Mbalangu coached aspect.

    URA FC’s two targets got here within the remaining minutes of the entertaining contest on the venue that lately marked 100-years of existence.

    The tax collectors goalkeeper Muhammed Ssekebba saved two penalties throughout the shootout whereas Joseph Ssemujju, captain Moses Aliro Okabo, Ronald Otti and Isma Mugulusi scored their kicks.

    Left again Dissan Galiwango had his penalty saved by KCCA goalkeeper Mutwalib Mugolofa.

    Joel Sserunjogi and Ashraf Mugume netted the 2 penalties for KCCA whereas Herbert Achayi and Enock Walusimbi had their kicks saved by Ssekebba.

    URA joins Vipers SC who eradicated NEC FC within the semifinals of the 52nd version of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

    Motion will resume on Easter Sunday with Kitara FC taking over Categorical FC at Royals Park in Butema whereas SC Villa will journey to Blissful boyz Kagaba on Monday within the remaining quarterfinal fixture.
