Following the return of Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, it’s been reported that the Manchester United attacking duo will be in line for a starting berth in the Manchester Derby this weekend.

Amid an indifferent 2025/26 campaign, United will now take on an in-form City outfit in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils had to make do without Mbeumo and Diallo since mid-December, as the pair jetted off to AFCON for Cameroon and Ivory Coast respectively.

Now though, following their nation’s elimination at the quarter-final stage of the showpiece, the Express reported that Mbeumo and Diallo are ‘due to return’ this weekend.

Mbeumo has been one of United’s best players this season, after netting six goals in 16 Premier League games so far this season.

As for Diallo, the Ivorian only managed to score two goals in 15 Premier League ties during the campaign but managed to find form at AFCON with three goals in five matches in Morocco.
