Tottenham Hotspur’s Mohammed Kudus

Former Ghana international Daniel Opare believes that the Black Stars will battle without Mohammed Kudus at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Kudus, known for his unique dribbling attributes, is currently nursing an injury that has ruled him out for the entire 2025/26 campaign. The 25-year-old is now racing against the clock to make it in time for the World Cup in June as an integral part of the Ghana national team.
The former West Ham star was a star performer for Ghana at the 2022 showpiece, while Opare believes that the Black Stars will miss his value should he not make it the Americas later this year.
“If he doesn’t come back, we’re in deep trouble”, Opare told JoySports, as per Modern Ghana.
“Like I said, football is, you know, the ones there can play, but I think with Kudus in there, he will add more value to the team.
“So, you know, fingers crossed, we pray that he recovers on time so that he can make the World Cup, you understand”.
