    East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) Ltd in partnership with Buganda Kingdom have damaged floor on the development of Kabaka Daudi Chwa II EACOP Stadium Buddu in Buddu Nation-Masaka Metropolis.

    This initiative aligns with EACOP’s Social Financial Funding pillar- youth empowerment that focuses on deliberate interventions in the direction of the social and financial wellbeing of communities alongside the pipeline.

    David GOMBEEast African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) Ltd in partnership with Buganda Kingdom have damaged floor on the development of Kabaka Daudi Chwa II EACOP Stadium Buddu in Buddu Nation-Masaka Metropolis.

    The Kingdom expressed its dedication in the direction of this initiative by committing 10 acres for the development of a state-of-the-art neighborhood sports activities middle. EACOP made a monetary contribution in the direction of the development of this facility, which is envisioned to nurture younger expertise, promote health, and function a hub for unity and neighborhood engagement.

    Talking on the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. JB Habumugisha, the Deputy Managing Director of EACOP Ltd., stated:

    “This groundbreaking ceremony displays our long-term dedication to advancing sustainability and socio-economic improvement. By supporting the sports activities centre, we’re investing in initiatives that may ship lasting worth for communities during which we function.”

    The Katikkiro of Buganda, Owek. Charles Peter Mayiga, welcomed the partnership, noting:

    “The Kingdom cherishes collaborations that handle crucial wants resembling youth empowerment. By means of Kabaka Daudi Chwa II EACOP Stadium Buddu , we’re glad to work with EACOP to create a legacy of resilience, alternative, and development for our folks.”


    The development of this stadium highlights the shared dedication of Buganda Kingdom
    and EACOP in the direction of driving neighborhood transformation and improvement in Masaka and past.

    In response to EACOP Ltd, the pipeline stretches 296 km, passing by 10 districts and 25 sub-counties and of those 7 districts lie throughout the Buganda Kingdom, masking 130 villages throughout 4 of the Buganda Kingdom’s 18 counties. The districts and their respective counties embrace:
     Gomba District (Gomba)
     Kyankwanzi District (Singo)
     Mubende District (Buwekula)
     Sembabule District (Mawogola)
     Lwengo, Kyotera, and Rakai Districts (Buddu)
    The stadium is a shared imaginative and prescient between EACOP and the Buganda Kingdom to foster sustainable regional improvement in Masaka and surrounding areas.
