According to various reports in English football media, Newcastle are the latest side to show interest in a Chelsea and Senegal star as the next transfer window approaches.
Chelsea, who are set to make major staff changes at the end of the 2025/26 season, will reportedly look to offload Nicolas Jackson in the coming months.
The Senegal striker joined Bayern Munich on loan in September last year but failed to make a lasting impression behind a red-hot Harry Kane who has been leading the line for the German giants.
In addition to Jackson’s woes, Bayern recently confirmed that they will not turn his loan spell into a permanent move at the end of the season.
Jackson will thus return to Stamford Bridge, where TalkSport reported that Newcastle have ‘emerged’ as ‘contenders’ to sign the out-of-sought attacker.
The 24-year-old has scored 10 goals in 30 appearances for Bayern this season, while recording four assists along the way.
In contrast, Kane has found the back of the net on 54 occasions in 46 matches played across the board, with seven assists to his name as well. With Kane in the form of his life, Jackson thus faced an uncertain future with the club amid playing second fiddle to the former Spurs talisman.
