Manchester United and Cameroon international Bryan Mbeumo has described the feeling of winning against the club’s arch-rivals Liverpool at the world renowned Anfield Stadium.

Mbeumo was a star performer during United’s 2-1 win against Liverpool in the Premier League at Anfield in October last year, where he kicked proceedings off with a goal in the second minute of the match.

The popular African star thus claimed that he never considered Anfield as a tough place to go to until he joined United, who have a long and at times, hostile history in Merseyside.

“I get asked a lot the question about the stadiums that impressed me the most. I never said Anfield until I came to Manchester United,” Mbeumo told French Tik Tok channel Zack en Roue Libre, as per Rousing The Kop.

“Anfield with Brentford and Anfield with Manchester, it’s not the same!

“It’s not the same, it’s really not the same. You feel, actually, when you go onto the pitch, you feel the hostility, but times ten, times a hundred.

“You’re the enemy. You feel it, it’s incredible. Score there, incredible. Winning there, honestly, it was beautiful. It was beautiful.”
