The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed that the Super Eagles will play two high-profile international friendlies in June 2026 against European teams Poland and Portugal.

The first match is against Poland on Tuesday, June 3, 2026, at the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw.

Four days later, on June 10, 2026, Nigeria will face Portugal in Portugal, with the exact venue to be announced soon.

These fixtures were reportedly arranged by the NFF’s FIFA Match Agent, Jairo Pachon of Eurodata Sport.

They come as the Super Eagles, who failed to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, seek competitive action during the international window.

The matches are viewed as crucial preparations for future tournaments, including the next AFCON and the road to the 2030 World Cup, offering valuable tests against strong European sides.
