Nigerian superstar Victor Osimhen hailed Galatasaray’s unbreakable spirit after he inspired a win over Antalyaspor on Saturday.

The world class striker delivered a match-winning brace as Galatasaray came from behind twice to beat Antalyaspor 4-2 at Rams Park, clinching the Turkish Super Lig title with a game to spare.

Osimhen converted a 66th-minute penalty to equalise before scoring the decisive 88th-minute winner, completing the dramatic comeback after Antalyaspor had led 1-0 and 2-1.

“This is the kind of game that shows why we are Galatasaray. We always come back from every difficulty, and I’m really happy with the team’s performance,” Osimhen told beIN SPORTS Türkiye.

“They (Antalyaspor) gave us a hard time, but just as I said earlier, this is the reason we are Galatasaray, and we have come through.”

Osimhen’s heroics helped Galatasaray secure their fourth consecutive league championship and 26th title overall.

The 27-year-old has had a good season, scoring 15 goals and providing five assists in just 22 appearances.
