With five places still up for grabs in the CAF Champions League quarter-finals, matchday 6 of the group stages promises to be full of excitement.
Pyramids will attempt to keep their unbeaten record intact when they host Power Dynamos at the 30 June Stadium (Cairo) on Saturday night.
The defending champions are the highest scorers in the group phase after beating Rivers United 4-1 on February 8 to take their tally to 11 goals. Aba Yellow are third in Group A after they pulled off a stunning 2-0 victory over RS Berkane on February to go level with them on seven points, six behind the leaders.
RS Berkane must win against Rivers United at the Berkane Municipal Stadium (Berkane) on Saturday night to guarantee their place in the last-eight.
The Orange Boys have now suffered back-to-back defeats at the hands of Pyramids and Power Dynamos to put their continued participation in Africa’s elite club competition at risk. The Pride of Rivers’ elimination was already confirmed after they lost for the fourth time in five games last weekend.
Group C still remains up in the air as Al Hilal look to secure top spot when they welcome Saint-Eloi Lupopo to the Amahoro Stadium (Kigali) on Saturday afternoon.

Stade Malien will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten run in Group D when they take on Simba at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium (Dar es Salaam) on Saturday evening.
Les Blancs have perhaps been the surprise package in the group stages after winning three of their opening five games to go five points clear of ES Tunis and Petro de Luanda, with the most recent result a 1-0 success against the Blood and Gold on February 8. The Reds of Msimbazi collected only their second point on matchday 5 after playing out to a 1-1 draw with the Tricolores.
ES Tunis and Petro de Luanda are competing for second place as they square off at the Hammadi Agrebi Stadium (Tunis) on Saturday afternoon.
The Blood and Gold have a slightly better goal difference otherwise the two teams have an identical record ahead of their crunch clash, with the reverse fixture ending in a 1-1 draw on November 29.
Al Ahly and AS FAR will battle it out for pole position in Group B when they meet at the Cairo International Stadium (Cairo) on Sunday evening.
The Red Eagles are still undefeated after they were held to a 0-0 draw by JS Kabylie on February 7 which kept them one point ahead of Al-Zaeem, who edged Young Africans 1-0 on matchday 5 to open up a three-point cushion to Yanga.
Young Africans need maximum points from their encounter with JS Kabylie at the Amaan Stadium (Zanzibar City) on Sunday afternoon to stand a chance of pipping AS FAR to second place.
